i didn't want to blog today. but yong jie motivated me to blog. haha.

all because of sunflowers.

anyway, i overslept for 2 times today. first time in my whole life. so i've set my phone with 5 alarms for tomorrow's lesson. i hope it works. cos i had only set like 2 or 3 this morning. so it doesn't work. i was supposed to meet wj at 7.15am. i woke up at 7am. then leave my house at 9am to be on time for tvsm practice at 10am but i woke up at 9.20am instead. ok, at 9.20am, i jumped out of bed.

then went to school for tvsm. was late. obviously.

then nic said he didn't want to smile. so i gave that look. but i think nic still looks friendlier.

anyway, yong jie and me were raving about sunflowers! haha.

saying how pretty and cheerful they are.

really lahs. they can cheer one up. one day i should buy a big bunch and place in my house. but what if insects appear?

then i went yahoo-ing (not google) for sunflowers. as to why they are named sunflowers. but i got no answer.

anyway, sunflowers have only one english name but in chinese, they have a lot.

葵花、太陽花、日車、望日蓮、迎陽花、日輪草.

so many right. and sunflowers have different varieties. and it can grow to a height of 1.5m - 3.5m.

very tall! i think 1 stalk of that 1.5m is enough to hide myself behind it. haha. i'm 1.6m what. ok, i'm actually only 1.58m, you believe?
