HELLO!
had presentation today. & i really really swear to wear heels for smart casual attire or for any form of presentation, unless otherwise stated. I really cannot walk in covered shoes normally. they bite my toes. so i had super many plasters today but still not enuf.
xiu's toes were also bitten by her shoes. poor ah ma.
anw, jiaqi and i decided to be the good students for once and turn up for FOM at 8am sharp. well, we were the first ones and door not opened. so we sat outside and waited for the rest.
so much for being on time? haha.


after lessons, the big group decided to go to Holland v. for their lunch. the five of us, xiu, cam, nic, haz and me decided to go FC4 instead.
discussing to play pool or not. i was not really for it. don't know how to play what! after some discussion, decided to go and learn, along with cam cam.
xiu was die die don't want go. haha. reason ask her.
in the end, persuaded her to go. =)
while lunching, as usual, we gossip. :)
pool was ok lahs. starting I hit my own thumbnail. then was ok lors. all 3 were learning (haz, cam and me) whereas nic was the only one who knew how to play. xiu sat to watch.
ok, i managed to score 2 balls. =) hahhaa. then cam cam i cnt rmb. we're all beginners. haha. xiu said she was extremely proud of her girls. LOl. but we still lost to the guys.
know what? we took 45min to clear one game. haha!
i got the name Sniper. cos the way i told the pool stick is as though i was holding a sniper. LOl. cam cam became the archer.
then, only the guys played. game cleared in 15min. see the difference. xiu supported haz (the hazxiu team). so i supported my "teacher", nic! haha.
eh, results how ah?
hmmm.


so, i learnt something about pool.
"you can sit on the table and shoot" that was what hazwan told me.

i wonder how I can improve on my IMW.

over the weekends:
- design my two advertisements.

- write my letter for IMW
- make sure my OC ppt is in running order. (this IS IMPT!)

see, not only students need do designing. media students oso need. but it's fun. i don't mind.
so who said poly students no homework/project de nehs? who said we always go to school and listen lecture only? who said we go school and chit chat? who say we go poly den get hitched only? who say one huh? hahahah.

i better stop. i think i'm getting high.

i have difficulty sneezing. i just can't seem to AH CHOO out. my god. only the tears will well up in my eyes. this is a super duper not good feeling.
& the OC teacher decided to trick us today. when all of us were reaching school or were in school already, she decided to tell Gina "i've sillily stained my shirt. i need to go back and change." so all of us had to spend our time in school. it was 2.5 hours ok! my goodness.
went to moberly. the rest played pool. my head was still slightly spinning and the occasional sniffing was still going on. xiao mei learned how to play pool le! yeah~ ok, i still have not learnt. when my flu really shoos, i will learn. don't expect me to learn/play when i'm sick. i will just keep huh-ing and shake my head to you cos nothing gets in! haha.
lectures weren't really that cold but i was really sniffing away. haha. thanks to si ji a.k.a daryl's jacket. =) the jacket with perfume on it. hahaha. oh ya, he's oso wu gui's number 1 fan! haha.
finally, lectures ended. i needed to get home. for what? to rest lahs, DUH. oh ya, i forgot to mention. if my flu doens't shoo by friday, it's 90% i won't go for movie. haha. cos i dun wan my flu to get worse. if not, weekend, i will be sitting at my studydesk with the box of tissue beside me.

outing with my dear fiance, deniece today. didn't call the rest of you cos we decided to er ren shi jie. haha. we had our one day tour of singapore. i think i'm courting death in my condition. my flu got worse. no worries, deniece.

first stop, to orchard! went to kinokuniya. deniece found her magazine and i was browsing my nail art mag. i was like WOW WOW WOW! i want buy them! i shall save $100 for magazines. haha. can open nail art mini library liao. i didn't buy any of them. no worries. we made the pact to remind ourselves not to buy anything unnecessary. =) that was for the start. went to food republic for lunch. picture bottom.

secondly, we took the train down to dhoby ghaut. we didn't walk. lucky thing! you will know why if you read on.
wanted to find blazer. no find. deniece went finding heels. found no buy yet.

third, we WALKED down to cityhall. deniece was like "how long more?" i started off saying 15min from cathay. then reaching carlton hotel. "how long more?'" "10min". reaching raffles hotel. "how long more?" "7min." haha. it was actually more than 15 min. around 20-25min? but i do enjoy walking with her. we talk and talk. then our pace is the same. =)

at cityhall, we walked from suntec city from this shop to another. then from carrefour side, walk back to marina square. then jump from one shop to another in search of deniece's heels. i didn't buy my earpiece cos i decided to get a cheaper one. deniece finally bought her heels from charles and keith! =) she's so happy. i was happy to try on my heels too. nvr buy cos i have one alr.
from marina square, we walked to raffles city for dinner.
from raffles city we walked to bugis. power lehs? that's why it's a good thing we didn't walk from orchard to dhoby ghaut.
then, i was searching for my shirt. we walked round and round the same spots. then i kept sniffing throughout the whole day.
at bugis, my sniffs got worse due to the open space smoking. everywhere i went, people were like puffing. i was super miserable. so now, my flu is worse with the oncoming cough. my god. shoo the cough!
i am so happy! cos i managed to bargain for my clothes at bugis. so, i shall go shopping with deniece next time again! it's so fun! cos only two people, so easy to walk. haha. & we were grabbing each other. cos we didn't want to shi shan. was so squeezy there. i guess whoever i go with next time, i'll take string tie. haha.

oh, deniece taught me the shoo shoo shoo method. haha.

next, we played Dictation! haha. ok, it was dawn reading out to nic as he was typing the report. then became yong jie and then me then dawn! so all of us have to listen carefully and type! haha. well, i think nic was quite scared when i used his laptop cos i was hitting the ENTER button so hard. haha. he told me "can you don't enter so hard?" hahahaha. ok, i hope that's not the reason for my siao gee na laptop.
after report writing was completed, we gossiped. hehehe.
after that, headed home.

don't send me any more technicians who don't know what's the problem with it and then just replace any parts. that's so irresponsible.
don't give me any more solutions because it isn't helping. they're just trying to stretch the time.

the laptop person came today. & this uber dummy laptop decided not to show any problems. hais. so, during ICP lecture, i was complaining to xiu how dumb that company was. i shan't say here. anyway, congrats to both hazwan and miao miao in getting thru the auditions! :D obviously, i didn't. so that means, i will keep practicing to sing in KTV till i can. :)) so, those who want to sing KTV with me, bear with me le orh. hehehe. i'll sing and sing. wa haha. better find those who dun really want to sing to sing with me. wa kaka. ok, i shan't be that bad.
nope, i'm not sad that i didn't get through. i'm really not sad. in fact, i'm happy. at least, i did try.


design class was fun. =) cos she was teaching about colour theme. one of my favourites. colours are always so amazing. they add feelings to one's life. they can make it happy at one time, then sad, just like music. amazing, aren't they?
then, everyone went online to play the colour game. haha. played till the eyes go round and round and round. haha.


as i was on the way to school today, suddenly, i thought of something.
life is forever full of one pleasing another. i have a friend R who doesn't wish to do a particular thing but because R knows that N will be unhappy, R will do it unwillingly. Why is life always full of pleasing people? How about N? Will N do something which she is unwilling to? I don't think so. Because to me, sometimes, whatever N does, she doesn't really spare a thought for others. She just wants others to do it HER way. Why must we always accede to others?

hmmm, firstly, have to thank jay for lending me his spare one. but I was really very lost during ITB lesson using his laptop. cos his is microsoft office 2007 plus vista version. So, i was totally lost at how to use it. since it wasn't configured, i couldn't log on to the internet. so, i was super duperly bored yesterday. but still, i must thank him for bringing the laptop for me. thanks!

since i have to help out in the vote pulling on thurs and I MUST have a laptop, i have to use a laptop which is configured to the school. hence, after so much asking, finally, Firman, the nice and important guy decided to lend me his laptop and his dearie paul. hehe. THANKS! :)


for today, well. i decided to bring my sot laptop along. well, didn't work so i was stoning during ITB lesson. peeped occasionally at yihan's laptop. =)
then, there was IMW test.
so, i think today i sang the best of all I had sang. thanks to miao miao (my teacher), gina, dawn. they were practically the ones who listened to me over and over again. and miao miao taught me how to sing properly. =) she told me my weakness point. thanks a lot. so, we will know the results on friday. let's pray all of us get through.

walked down to bugis in search of that bag. no avail. lunched there.
lost as to where to go after that and yulin suddenly said, "eh, go shopping lehs. i dun want to go home." we all stared at her astonishingly. it was the FIRST time she ever said to go shopping. well, ok.
went down to orchard. yulin daddy had to go off first.

went for 2nd round of CIP today.
this time, it was the female ward. well, i have to admit that I was really scared when I saw them. More scared than the first time. but after awhile of dancing and singing and origami session, I felt a lot better. not that lost, not that scared. like what yihan said, these people are really sad. i believe they don't want us to pity them, they just want someone to listen to their problems and just be there for them. no one asked for it. no one wanted things to turn out this way. not you, not me and let alone them.

during cip, it was really nice to see them behaving like children, just like what we would do when we're young. that innocent and childish happy smiles on the faces.

learnt how to fold a paper crane today. actually, remember how to fold. I still want to learn the real crane. follwed by roses or hearts.
dawn's really a pro in making animals out of balloons. =)

went home after the cip. was really tired. i was late for the class meeting. so sorry! i promise i will leave my house earlier somemore. this is the first time i ever took a train to somewhere so far off. so, i can't really gauge the timing.


when i was walking home, suddenly, i saw the sunset. it was really nice. i wonder how long has it been since I last raised my head up to look at the sky. the scene is really pretty. you won't always get such nice scenery. if you look at things from different angles, you will find them different.



























something which i recently felt. guys like to describe girls as bimbos as they feel we just care about our looks and using our looks, we get away with everything. now, i feel that guys are just like bimbos too. they know nothing and they are just plain shallow. =) well, not all guys though. but i just feel, it applies more to the guys whom you know more.

yesterday...

lesson for FOM super early. i knew he wun start on time. so i told jiaqi meet later. he only started at 8.30pm. attendance was not bad. ahha. only 6 missing.
so he blah blah blah. and gave us products. and we blah blah blah back. haha.
so time fly fly fly.
get into groups discuss PBL 2, so yong jie the ah gong and me blah blah blah. since there were only the two of us. in the end, i ended up surfing the net for hairstyles and her, as usual, shooting people with her camera.
CD was also blah blah blah. our CIP was like. er, eh, erm. i duno what to say. it's tomorrow.
so teacher blah-ed for an hour, den home!
haha. went for foooooodie at FC 4. the rice there was like bleh. hard.
so, went home with yong jie.
met up with ligeng for haircut. yeah, i cut my hair short! haha. dun be deceived by the front ok. cos front is long and behind is wow, short! haha. the auntie cut for me. i had to plead with her before she decided to cut my two feelers shorter. haha. i told ligeng, "i feel like a cockroach with 2 feelers." HAHA!
eh, a waste to cut off my long hair? i dun think so. cos i like the way it is. =) just that i somehow feel lost w/o my long hair. haha.
then, went back to ytss to collect testimonials. saw jiahui and jessie! =)
jiahui went "eh, u all still remember me ah? i grow prettier liao lehs!" haha. yeah, prettier girl. =) she grew darker too. haha.
accompanied ligeng to cwp. and walked around. so done for yesterday.

so, jiaqi only noticed the front part grew slightly shorter. den when she saw my behind, she was so shocked. haha. then she started playing with my hair. -.-'''
reached dover. the way i walked was like dancing with yihan. haha. cos i didn't want her to see my hair. LOl. then she played with it too. cos it's short at the top.
so practically, everyone who saw me today, played with my hair. the short part. well well.
then eugene a.k.a jie mei/nan yong, said, "you going punk style huh? back short, front long." haha. nahs, it's the auntie decide de. i just merely sit there be her model. haha. my hair didn't fall off overnight. i cut it. =)
so, sammy a.k.a my elder sister is the only one who feels that i cut my hair into half of what it used to be is a waste. nvm lahs, will grow back de. =)
and, my mum found her hairdresser friend, which means, I CAN GET CHEAPER HAIRCUT! haha. okok. my sis had hers today. and it's really cheaper than mine.

the food there was WOW. a lot lahs. so, our whole table was full but we cleared all of the food, so no food wastage. =)
we enjoyed ourself many many much. food was so super full.
walked around suntec and marina with jiaqi the cat and xiuwei the ah ma.
walked for around 2 hours and went back for desert. yum yum.
we couldn't really eat cos we were still full.
